The Last Frontier

Indigenous peoples, belonging to T'boli tribe, resist the threat of the coffee plantation that intruded into their ancestral domain since 1991. The entry of the coffee plantation has led to the displacement and loss of lives of the T'bolis. The continued expansion of the coffee plantation pushes the indigenous peoples to the edge,as the coffee plantation has deprived them of their access to the natural resources available in the area.

The plantation cover the sitios of Datal Bonlangon, Segowit, Tawan Dagat and Tuburan at Barangay Ned in Lake Sebu, South Cotabato. The T'bolis are now squeezing themselves in a small tract of land for survival.

This documentary project started in 2006.
